Larpmegle is a live, 18+ video debate game. Two players (called larpers) take turns making the most passionate case they can for a random topic, while a third player (the judge) decides who sold it best. Rounds are short and built to be clipped and shared.

Pick a topic pool and your role (larper or judge), then hit Join Queue. You're matched with two strangers. Larpers take turns hyping the random topic — your mic is only live on your turn — and the judge gets 30 seconds at the end to crown a winner. Win to climb the ELO ladder.

No. You can play instantly as a guest. Creating a free account lets you save your ELO and rank permanently, claim a guest rating you earned, and appear on the leaderboards. Guest ratings are provisional and can be claimed for a limited time by signing up.

A larper argues — you take turns hyping the random topic as hard as you can. A judge watches both larpers and, after the turns end, picks who made the better case. Larpers and judges each have their own ELO ladder and leaderboard.

That's a big part of why we built it. Every round is low-stakes practice at public speaking, improvising, and persuading a live audience under a clock. Taking turns making your case to a stranger builds quick thinking, confidence, and social ease — the same skills that help in real conversations, interviews, presentations, and meeting new people. It's a game first, but the practice is real, and it gets easier every time you step up.

Rounds are short by design. Before the turns begin, players vote on the turn length (20 seconds or 60 seconds per turn). After both larpers have had their turns, the judge gets 30 seconds to decide the winner.

ELO is your skill rating. You gain rating when you win and lose some when you don't, and your rank tier is derived from your ELO. Larpers and judges are ranked separately. Rankings are for entertainment only and have no monetary value; they may be adjusted, reset, or voided for ties, forfeits, technical issues, or abuse.

No. Live audio and video are sent peer-to-peer directly between players using WebRTC. We do not record, watch, or store your stream. One safety exception: an automated check runs in your browser and may blur likely explicit content, in which case a single still frame can be sent for human moderator review.

Yes. Playing Larpmegle is free, whether you play as a guest or with a free account.

Yes. Larpmegle is strictly for adults 18 and over. It is live, uncurated video chat with strangers and is not directed to or suitable for anyone under 18.

Yes. Private rooms let you play with friends in unranked matches that don't affect your ELO. Create or join a room from the Private Room option on the home screen.

Larpmegle runs in your mobile browser — no app install needed. It works in portrait on phones, so you can queue, larp, and judge from your camera anywhere.

Every match has a report control. Reports, plus automated content flags, feed our moderation system, and we may blur, suspend, or ban any user, guest session, or device. Because Larpmegle is built for sharing, assume anything you do on camera can be clipped and posted — never show anything you wouldn't want seen publicly.
