How to Play

Every match is a trio. Two larpers go head-to-head, taking turns hyping a random topic as hard as they can, while one judge watches and decides the winner. Rounds are short and high-energy — built to be screenshotted and clipped.

1. Pick a topic pool and your role. On the home screen, choose a topic pool (like Music, Gaming, Science, Screen, or Tech) and pick your role: larper, who argues, or judge, who decides the winner.
2. Join the queue. Hit Join Queue. Larpmegle matches you with two strangers — two larpers and one judge — as soon as a full trio is available in your pool.
3. Vote on the turn length. Before the round starts, players vote on how long each turn is: 20 seconds for fast, punchy rounds or 60 seconds for longer arguments.
4. Take turns hyping the topic. Each larper gets a turn to make the most passionate case they can for the random topic. Your microphone is only live on your turn, so there's no talking over each other.
5. The judge decides. After both larpers have gone, the judge gets 30 seconds to pick who sold it best and crowns the winner.
6. Climb the ELO ladder. Winning raises your ELO rating and your rank. Larpers and judges have separate ladders and leaderboards. Sign in with a free account to save your rank permanently.

Your job is to sell the topic. When it's your turn, make the funniest, boldest, most convincing case you can — your mic is only live on your turn, so own the spotlight. Win rounds to raise your larper ELO and climb the leaderboard.

As a judge you watch both larpers and crown whoever made the better case. You get 30 seconds at the end to decide. Judges have their own ELO ladder and leaderboard, so good, consistent judging is its own way to climb.

• Ranked (public): queue solo, get matched with strangers, and your ELO is on the line.
• Private rooms: play with friends in unranked matches that don't affect your ELO — great for practice or just for fun.
• Guest or account: play instantly as a guest, or sign in free to save your rank and appear on the leaderboards.

Larpmegle is 18+ and full of live strangers. Be kind, keep it within the rules of conduct, and use the in-match report button if someone crosses a line. Because the game is built for sharing, assume anything you do on camera can be clipped and posted publicly — never show anything you wouldn't want seen.
